I went to Milwaukee on the weekend of May 15, 2004 to catch the kite festival.

I was showing off how my camera could take several pictures a second with flash. Shanah was my unsuspecting victim. This is the first shot... - IMG_1504
And this is the second... Sorry about that, Shanah. - IMG_1509
We went out to Veterans' Park in Milwaukee for the kite festival. It was a beautiful, sunny day (if a bit cold) and the sky was filled with kites. - IMG_1511
More kites against the Milwaukee skyline - IMG_1513
Mark and Hannah each had their own kites. - IMG_1516
If you look carefully you can follow Mark's string to the upper-left and Hannah's to the upper-right. - IMG_1517
Pretty awesome stunt kites, huh? - IMG_1519
This guy was flying three stunt kites in tandem. He had one in each hand and the third was attached to his waist. - IMG_1522
A 400' dragon kite. At this point there wasn't much wind and I was surprised that "Mr. Kite" was able to get it to fly at all. I supposed that's why he's "Mr. Kite" - IMG_1525
Saryn and I said we could babysit Hannah while mom and dad caught a movie. I left to get some food and came back to find this. - IMG_1526
Hannah woke me up the next morning. (No, she doesn't sleep in the Pack 'n' Play but it makes a fun fort.) - IMG_1529
I let Hannah play with my camera. This is her first picture. She needs a little work on her framing... - IMG_1531
She just can't do anything with her hair in the morning... - IMG_1535
Framing is a little better in this one, but I am not at all awake. (Pretty sunburnt from the day before too.) - IMG_1537
I was told to, "Make a funny face!"
