I have been working at DataWave since 2002. Here are various pictures from DataWave, mostly centering on the early 2004 office move.

My very fancy office, complete with much-hated pager - dw-serverroom
Server room on a shoestring. The knock-off iMac case from the Go2America acquisition is one of my favorite bits. - IMG_1333
On Feb 25, 2004, workers jackhammering through a concrete wall caused the NOC area to fill with concrete dust. Plastic was laid down but by then it was too late. This is my desk. - IMG_1334
A longer view of the NOC area. My desk is behind the tan divider on the left. - IMG_1335
This fine film of dust was covering EVERY surface in the room. The dust in the air made it almost impossible to breathe in the room. - IMG_1336
Here is the result of their work. This used to be a 6 foot thick concrete wall dividing two buildings' basements. - IMG_1337
A closer view of the cutting. First 4 holes were drilled in the corners, then the top and side edges were cut out, and finally the concrete was jackhammered out. - IMG_1338
A better view of the top of the cut. - IMG_1339
This single layer of drywall was all that separated our work area from the jackhammers. The two handheld jackhammers on the 24th were loud enough to make us move but the equipment they used on the 25th was unbelievably loud. - IMG_1340
At least the workers got some protection. - IMG_1341
At this point most desks are already upstairs and the cube walls are headed upstairs. - IMG_1342
More teardown. - IMG_1343
Piles of office furniture that will be moved later or not used at all in the new offices. - IMG_1344
Moving on to the 26th, they have bricked up the freshly-cut wall and put in a firedoor frame. - IMG_1345
