Fools and Drunks, And I Don’t Drink

There was a stretch in February and March that was pretty rough.  Between classes, work, being sick, Trivia, and more, I got a little bogged down.  Something had to give.  Unfortunately, my ASP.NET class is what gave. The professor mentioned to me that he was very forgiving on due dates for students that were in their CIS internship.  [...]

Where have I been?

This should display a map of every state I’ve been to: create your own visited states map or check out these Google Hacks. I really need to see more of the US. Oregon and Maine are high on the list, since I know people there. I haven’t actually seen either of the oceans (except from [...]

So a computer geek walks into a bar…

Finally, the long awaited explanation to my last post. Dawn invited me to a show. An acoustic cover band called The Fire was playing at Graffiti’s. The band was pretty good, the company was enjoyable, and the venue was surprisingly pleasant (for a downtown bar in Stevens Point). I did get a little bored during [...]

Bar

Normally I don’t pay much attention to the latest memes floating around on the web but these two really caught my fancy. My Johari Window My Nohari Window I am curious to see what other people think so if you wouldn’t mind taking a look… Let me know if you start your own and I’ll [...]

Snow

We didn’t get as much snow as they threatened. I’d guess that we might have gotten 5″ of the 6-12″ that they predicted. It still made for some fun driving and a few sessions of shoveling.

Fool on the hill

Ever felt like a fool? Are you a fool if you don’t know what’s going on?  Are you a fool for caring about what’s going on when it’s not a part of your life? Are you a fool for letting it affect your life? I don’t know and I probably shouldn’t care. But I do…

17 + 17 = 34

My 34th birthday is quickly approaching. Some of my classmates could be 17 years old. I could have had a kid when I was 17. That means that I am old enough to be the father of some of the hot chicks I am leering at on campus. *sigh*
